Questions and Answers

Is there a monthly fee associated with the microchip that I will have to pay to maintain it? Or is it a one time fee and done?

Becky R. asked 4 months, 18 days, 18 hours, and 4 minutes ago - 1 answer

Devan P.

The one-time fee is included in the cost of the groupon deal. VIP PetCare will register your pet's chip for free and you will not have to pay a yearly fee. Unless you transfer ownership of the pet to another person, you should never incur any fees with this microchip.

Is a rabies vaccine available for an extra charge on the adult vaccine package?

Becky R. asked 4 months, 18 days, 17 hours, and 41 minutes ago - 1 answer

Devan P.

Rabies vaccines for dogs are $12 by themselves. But you may add one to the canine package for just $5 at the clinic. The cat package includes a rabies vaccine.

How old does the dog have to be considered an adult?

shannon asked 4 months, 20 days, 14 hours, and 1 minute ago - 1 answer

Hello Shannon, generally the Dog Pack is used as an annual booster to the Puppy Pack. For example; a puppy receives a series of vaccinations starting at 8 weeks of age and ending about 16 weeks of age (3 sets). The pet will return a year after their last puppy set for the annual booster (about 1 1/2 years or older). If your pet has an unknown vaccine history and is over the age of one year I would go ahead and do the Adult Dog Pack and follow up with booster vaccines. If you have any further questions or would like a listing of current clinic locations please feel free to contact our HelpDesk department at 800-427-7973. Thank you for the question, we look forward to meeting you and your pet.
