$349 for an Exclusive Adventure Hot Air Balloon Flight for Two ($998 Value)

Pilots inflate the colorful hot air balloon, help flyers into the basket, and fire up the burners. Balloons carry two–six passengers on an Exclusive Balloon Adventure, during which they marvel at views of lush forests, wetlands, and rural Williamsburg. Finally, pilots guide the balloon back to earth, and everyone toasts the successful adventure.

The entire excursion lasts approximately three hours, with 30 to 45 minutes of flight time. Flights take place twice daily, once at sunrise and again four hours before sunset.

Virginia Balloons meets its customers at several locations in the Tidewater area, but primary meeting locations are the Williamsburg KOA and the Surry House restaurant. Departure locations will be chosen depending on the direction of the wind prior to the launch date. Passengers will be notified during the pre-flight check-in of designated meeting and departure location.

The colorful balloons float above farmlands, along Virginia Beach, and over the lush forests that grow in the shadow of the Appalachian Mountains. And if natural wonders aren't enough, the wind can carry balloons over downtown Williamsburg for a bird's-eye view of the historic buildings. Pilots, each with thousands of hours of flight time, guide these high-flying adventures. And, to create lasting memories, they toast each completed flight before sending balloons back to Oz for storage.
