FDA-approved laser-hair removal treatments are tailored to each client’s hair color and texture. Licensed aestheticians cleanse and shave skin before flashing pulses of light over its surface. Treatments of small and medium areas typically take about 15 minutes. Larger areas may take longer, depending on the thickness and darkness of the hair. Most new clients experience minimal discomfort, akin to a mild sting or a kiss from a friendly porcupine.
