generally 20% depending on service, and the gratuity should be on $68, not the discounted price.
Thank you Hailey.
That makes it about $44 for a one hour Swedish massage.

Hi Brian,
Tipping is up to your discretion, but it looks to me like industry standard is 10%-20%. Here are some references for you to check out:

http://www.findalink.net/tippingetiquette.php

Remember – gratuity is based on the full amount of the service, not the Groupon price.
Thanks and Enjoy!

For a great massage which you will get at Vitality Unlimited (I go there a lot) 20% would be a good tip and you should tip on the original purchase price of $68 not the discounted price. Which means your tip would be $13.60 but it is always up to the discretion of the person receiving the service…so any tip would be appreciated. Hope this helps.
I’m new to this…can someone help? I entered in my information and bought the Groupon, but I only received an email to thepoint.com, which I logged into. I don’t see where I can print the Groupon? Thanks.

Hi Stacey and Welcome to Groupon!
The Point is the website from which Groupon was born so if the email asked you to verify info, know that it is a trusted source. You will be able to print and use your Groupon beginning tomorrow (when this deal is over), you should have an email with this shortly. You can also always access your purchased Groupons by logging into your account and going to “My Stuff”.
Hope this helps, please let me know if you have any other questions.
Enjoy!

Can’t get through on facebook/e-mail. What does this service cost??

Hi Kathy,
Not sure what service you’re referring to…it doesn’t cost anything to become a Groupie. Today’s Groupon is for a $30 1 hour Swedish massage ($65 value). Both a great value :)
Let me know if you have any other questions!

Just noticed that I said $65 when the value of the 1 hour massage is $68.
Apologies!
Rachel
I’ve just been told (by e-mail) that I need to verify my “e-mail.” When I clicked “go here” I got the home page for Groupon. Anyone know how I’m supposed to verify?
kathy….it should say account verified on a banner at the top of the page once you click the link.

hi, it is 8:30 pm tonight, and I just also got an email for verification from ThePoint.
I clicked the link, and the message was “negative”!!! (No user exists with the given activation code.", it said).
Well, I did not generate that activation code, so how come it was not accepted, when it obviously was embedded in the “verification email” I received???
This is not a good start for an internet-customer relationship! What do we need this Point site for anyhow? thanks for enlightening me! M.
I love this place of happy and sales!!!

Hi Mona,
I’m sorry for your troubles with the verification process. The Point is the website from which Groupon was born and this verification process is used to make sure your information is secure on our site. Please send an email to support@groupon.com to make sure your account and purchase are all verified and taken care of.
Again, sorry for the inconvenience but here’s to smooth Groupon sailing in the future!
Hope this helps, let me know if you have any other questions!

“Gratuity not included.”
How much is the expected tip on a one hour massage?
