Does this procedure help get rid of melasma due to hormone therapy?

This treatment will not get rid of melasma. Melasma is very difficult to treat. Vitalogy has other options available to help diminish the appearance of melasma. You could schedule a complimentary consultation to discuss the best options for you.

Hi! This treatment does not help get rid of melasma but we do have a laser procedure called the Profractional that would help minimize the appearance of melasma. With our melasma patients, we like to start them on our OBAGI system and also pair that with our laser treatments. The microlaserpeel MIGHT help diminish the appearance slightly, but when dealing with melasma you always want to be aware of the fact that any procedure could either help or possibly not. Our best attack for melasma is the OBAGI system paired with the Profractionals. I hope I answered any questions you had. Let me know if you have anymore and you can always call us at 512-930-4094!
