Before wintertime hibernation, bicycles forage and fill their inner tubes with enough sustenance to feed training-wheeled cubs come spring, a noble act that often leads to serious exhaustion. Help spin the spokes of life with today's Groupon: for $25, you get $50 worth of merchandise and services at Volpe Cycles.
This full-service bicycle shop meets the needs of serious cyclists and casual riders with a bevy of repair services and cycle-centric products. All bikes receive the attention to detail they require with Volpe's six-month guarantee on all services, and a one to two year guarantee on most products (except flat fixes and products that have been abused in ways deemed inappropriate, such as turning your two-wheeled pedal pod into a birthday-party piñata). From March 1 through November 15, a full tune-up is $60, while a basic adjustment is $40. The rest of the year prices are $45 and $30, respectively. Volpe's bicycle psychologists fix self-conscious flat tires ($14), adjust finicky brakes ($15), true nefarious wheels ($15-$25), discipline delinquent derailleurs ($15), and more. Full overhauls start at $160.
Volpe Cycles' specialty is custom bike building from the frame up, letting you select each piece, part by part. Bikeless riders can acquire shiny two-wheelers from brands including Linus Bikes, Voodoo Cycles, Soma, Civia Cycles, Surly, Origin 8, and others. Deck out your bespoked ride with accessories from American Classic, Planet Bike, and much more. Estimates, advice, and fashion tips are always free.

Nine Yelpers give Volpe Cycles a five-star average:
- It's a small store, and they have limited on-site inventory, but they can definitely get you almost anything you want within a few days…it's worth stopping in and seeing what Todd can do for you! – pauline l.
- Oh my god, they got my bike, Sheila, in tip-top condition. She looks brand spankin' new and shiny, if she was a woman construction workers would whistle at her. – abigail l.
