I thought it said one per person?
There is no way four courses for one person is $50. It doesnt sound right. The risotto is $19, the salad is $10. Desset $7 – a best $36- 40 face value for four courses so if you can use 2 – an ok deal. IF dinner for 2 people $50 plus $25 groupon. VERY expensive and not any savings at all. Two people would nornally eat less than $75. Hope you can use 2
my thoughts are to proper tipping when doing so on a coupon?

Is the fourth course an appetizer? In the description it talks about a soup or salad, entree and dessert.
could you please confirm that there are good vegetarian options available within all four courses of the the prix-fixe?
The sorbet counts as a course! Thats why I think something sounds off. $50 for 3 courses that are normally less than $50?
$25 makes it ok though if you can use two.

I am glad everyone is excited about this great feature. Since it is a prix fixe menu, it is one per person ie you and your wife could buy separate Groupons and use them together.

I read the Groupon to say one per person, not per table which should not preclude any of us from being able to purchase one for ourselves and one as a gift for either a spouse, significant other or friend to be used at the same time making the dining experience $25 per person no matter the number in the reservation. For example, should a family of 5 want to go experience this restaurant then the Groupon should be purchased in each individual family memebers name (as a gift purchase) and then should be able to be utilized as again it says one “per person” not “per table.” If it is to be one per table that should have been stated, but it was not done so at the onset of sending this out to each of us.
Can me and my girlfriend both use the coupon at the same time or not? It says one per person but doesn’t mention how if you can use more then one at the table. Maybe we will sit at 2 different tables lol.
So if I buy two and I go with my husband, I can use both?

You may use a Groupon for each individual. Each individual may purchase one to use. It’s a great time to refer a friend to the site.

Re: vegetarian options, they do have a signature Mushroom Risoto prepared with vegetable broth. Sounds delicious, right?

To use multiple groupons at once (as a multi person party), do I really have to buy each one seperate under a different name?
It states the offer expires June, but is the prix fixe offer only good this week?
Can I purchase 2 under my name and give one to my wife as a gift? i.e. use one for each of us during the same meal, even though they both have my name?
can you order additional items for an additional cost? i’ve read reviews that the portions are rather small and that “sobet” between meals is considered a course and my boyfriend is a big eater!

You can buy as many as you want as gifts, but you can only use one for yourself. You may want to use our “Buy it for a friend” feature where you can change the recipients name on the Groupon and use those at the same time.

The Groupon is good until the expiration date, it is not a one week prix fixe menu.

Yes, you can always purchase more food if needed. If he’s a big eater then let the guy eat!

James- when using a coupon (anywhere, not just a Groupon), ALWAYS tip on the full value of the service, not on what you paid after using the coupon.

We’re so happy to see all the interest in the Water Works Groupon! I know there are some questions so we thought we’d clear a couple of them up for you.
There is a limit of one per person, but that does not mean per table. You can absolutely buy one for a friend or refer a friend to Goupon and everyone can enjoy their dinner together! Everybody at a table can have their own Groupon or one person can use one and the rest of the table can order off of our a la carte menu.
And of course we will honor vegetarian requests! The first course salad is always vegetarian, and depending on the soup de jour, there could be a second vegetarain option that day. The second course is the intermezzo sorbet. The sorbet is always vegetarian. For the main course we have the rissotto de jour which will always be vegetarian. And the chef’s duo dessert will also always be vegetarian.
I hope this has helped to clear up some of your questions. We’re so happy to see so much interest already today! We look forward to having everyone come in!

I bought two Groupons in my name expecting to use both at the same time, one for me and one for my wife. Did I need to buy one of these as a gift? Will Water Works only honor one since they are both in my name?

The price of the Fixe Pixe dinner in 2009 was $70.00 and a 3 course lunch was 50.00. So the groupon that is offered day applies to dinner I suppose and we will have a balance of 20.00 Is that right? Please let me know how it will work and on which meal.

Thank you for clearing up about honoring the Groupons that are bought in just one person’s name. I’m bringing my Mom with me and I’d like to be able to enjoy the dinner with her. I’ve heard great reviews of Water Works and I’m excited to share the experience with her.

The Prix Fixe menu offered for the Groupon has been developed specifically for this offer, it is not the same as the menus you are referencing. When you purchase the Groupon, you are only paying $25 but the menu is valued at $50. The coupon you will recieve via e-mail from Groupon will be given to us the night you dine and will cover your meal exclusive of taxes, gratuity, and beverages. It is valid Sunday, and Tuesday through Friday. Please see our post above for a description for the menu offerings.
As for tipping you should always tip on service and attentiveness of your waiter. Usually the 15-20% rule can be applied pre discount, Ie if its a couple you should tip at least if the server is so-so $15 but if its great service they $30 is a better idea.

When you were listing the vegetarian options, are you saying that there is a choice of dishes at each stage and that there are vegetarian options, or are you saying that the menu is one specific dish for each course and that it is a vegetarian meal for everyone? For us Omnivores, there will be meat options as well?

Sophia, I had the hardest time purchasing the Groupons as gifts…the screen kept freezing when I pushed the save button. So I purchased 5 Groupons, one for me and 4 for other people under my name. Am I under the correct impression that there will be no problem honoring the Groupons?

I purchased 2 of these… but I notice that both are showing up as my name (I had typed in my husband’s name as 1 as a gift). I did notice it seemed like the system was having trouble allowing me to purchase the gift one, but it eventually seemed to work (I did in fact purchase 2). Will I still be able to use both of them at the same dinner (one for him, one for me)?

You should have no problem redeeming both of these Groupons in one visit – as long as you print out and redeem the two different Groupon vouchers (make sure they both have different serial numbers on the top of the voucher).

Hmmm, I purchased awhile ago, yet went to my stuff and….they’re not there! I need to print! Actually, nothing is showing up there and I should have three groupons…

The experience here was extremely underwhelming. The server did not pay much attention to our table, the food was the last to come out after other tables that had arrived later had been served. Lastly, when complaining to the manager, the server said, almost derisively, “They are a groupon table.”
The food portions while sufficient was over-seasoned and way too salty. Thank you groupon for the opportunity to go to this restaurant, but I will respectfully decline returning on my own.
