It's difficult to hit a target from far away, which is why holes in one are rare and the Goodyear blimp has never been shot successfully with an arrow. Drive hard with a vengeance, thanks to this Groupon.
Choose Between Two Options
- $49 for a Load and Explode! power and distance golf lesson (a $120 value)
- $79 for five one-hour group golf lessons (a $160 value)
The two-hour Load and Explode! lesson is a small-group session for up to six students. The instructor utilizes V1 video-swing analysis and Titleist Performance Institute power tests to reveal areas of improvement that will help add distance to golfers’ drives.
There are two levels of difficulty for group lessons at Waters Landing Golf Park. Level 1 classes are appropriate for beginners and intermediates and teaches basics that include an overview of the game and swing mechanics. Level 1 includes a short game with emphasis on how body motion can affect your game. It comes with video analysis and TPI Golf Fitness Concepts. For players who have previously completed level 1 classes, the level 2 advanced classes teach shot improvement, swing correction, and kinematic sequencing.
Waters Landing Golf Park
Golf balls whistle through the air as they take flight over the driving range at Waters Landing Golf Park, an 18-acre practice facility where golfers of all stripes flock to groom their game. But while the range’s mix of grass and artificial tees—as well as its 15 covered and heated hitting stalls—offer ample space for solitary practice or black-market driver exchanges, the heart and soul of Waters Landing Golf Park is its golf instruction curriculum.
Helmed by PGA Director of Instruction John Hafera, lessons and clinics take a modern and holistic approach to golf improvement. Using Titleist Performance Institute’s techniques for measuring golf fitness and the latest technological teaching aids—including K-Vest 3-D motion-capture analysis and V1 video-swing analysis—John and his staff assess golfers’ skill sets using the "six factors of golf": swing technique, equipment, mental game, physical assessment, course management, and special knowledge. By making strides in each of these six golf facets, golfers can scratch bogeys off of their scorecards and overcome their fear of being swallowed whole by a sand trap.
