Hair removal can be tricky, especially if the hair is somehow connected directly to your skin through some nefarious prank of nature. Vanquish skin vandalism with this Groupon.

Choose from Three Options

  • $30 for one Brazilian wax (a $60 value)
  • $50 for two Brazilian waxes (a $120 value)
  • $20 for a modified bikini wax (a $40 value)

During each Brazilian wax, aesthetician Rose quickly and carefully removes all hair below the belt. For the modified bikini wax, Rose eliminates all the hair from the bikini zone, except for the inner most region.

Athena Day Spa

Amid Greek-inspired pillars, marble tile, and elegant furnishings, Athena Day Spa’s team of hairstylists, aestheticians, nail technicians, and massage therapists pamper clients seven days a week. As the hosts of AM Northwest mentioned, guests at the spa can sip on a cup of tea or a glass of wine as stylists spice up hairdos with feather extensions and all-over color. Two plush pedicure thrones outfitted with massaging features coddle clients as technicians knead essential oils and botanical-based lotions into feet during five types of pedicure. Customized kneads are also employed during seven types of massages––such as the detoxifying Himalayan salt-stone session––which each include complimentary warm-towel and hot-stone treatments. Along with European facials and waxing for men and women, Athena's aestheticians smooth the skin with microdermabrasion and high-frequency treatments.

The beauty haven also boasts a spa suite that is designed for couples to enjoy facials and massages together. Duos are encouraged to stay behind for one hour in the candlelit space to further relax in a two-person Jacuzzi, lounge in massage chairs, or perform shadow-puppet plays by the fireplace.

The Groupon Guide to: International Sports Competition Opening Ceremony

Every four years athletes from around the world gather to compete in whatever country has the most corporate sponsors and enough resources to recycle all of the bottles of power juice that athletes drink. Regardless of where it takes place, here’s what you can expect to see during the event's opening ceremony:

  • Elderly athlete lighting a tree on fire to signify that plants can never be athletes

  • Child representatives from every country marching into the arena to the sound of their country's official brass instrument

  • Colored lights that spell out "LOSING IS BAD FOR COUNTRIES"

  • The athletes enter, wearing only body paint in their country's colors. After they start to sweat, any athlete whose body paint does not melt together into a greenish brown is awarded five bonus points for his or her country.

  • The Happy Waving Man (official International Sports Competition mascot) comes out wearing overalls and leads everyone in chanting the official International Sports Competition slogan: "This competition is for us. This is our day. No time for water breaks, only for play."

Can some plants play sports?
