Is this for treatment of existing weeds, or will this work as a preventive for weeds coming up in the spring?

This application will target existing controllable weeds as well as include an application of preemergent weed control to prevent preventable weeds down the road. We always suggest a second preemergent to be applied 5 - 8 weeks later to continue prevention into the summer months. Exisiting weeds will need further attention throughout the life of your lawn.

We have a 3/4 acre lot with some established grass and grass we seeded in 11/2011 that is established. We aerated in the fall and seeded. We still have bare spots and lots of weeds. Our location is 28682. When would you begin the next treatment and do you do a soil analysis? What is your charge for a soil analysis?

You would want your 1st app by the end of the month. It will not affect your fall seeding as what will have happened has happened. The baby fescue plants that you see will mature into 30 - 40 wider bladed clumps over the next 6 months. Warmer weather & some good slow release food being the biggest factors in getting that jump started. We are happy to pull a sample sample to send to NC State for a free soil analysis with our visit. It takes 4 - 8 weeks to get the results. You would just need to request that when you called our office after you have purchased your Groupon.

I live in Gasstnia -- zip 28054. You cover the other 2/3 of Gastonia as 28052 and 28956. Is the list a misprint or ommission. If not, Why miss a large portion of developed Gastonia?
