Groupon: Collective Buying Power

Hey groupon staff! What an awesome deal. I bought this for myself and boyfriend, and then recommended this deal to both my aunt and my mother so that we could take a class together. They signed up and bought vouchers, and were intending to use my referral code to get me the money back. However, my aunt thought she had to enter the code in on a separate page, so she was never able to do it. Is there a way to verify her email or something for the referral credit? I don’t have any credit for my mother’s purchase, either, but she signed up an hour ago so it might be premature.

Is the groupon only valid for the courses listed or is it valid for any of the $55 classes on their schedule, for example “Dinner Party in Mumbai” or “Chocolate chocolate chocolate?” Thanks!

The groupon is only valid for the seven mentioned healthy courses on the groupon write up. If you’re looking at our calendar, the classes with three asterisks next to them denote the valid classes. Great question! Thanks!

FYI – Please book way in advance! I tried booking something almost a month before the Groupon expiration and they were totally booked. Well Done’s classes are small (10 people per class) and they fill quickly. They’ll put you on a waitlist for the classes you like, but will NOT accommodate you past the expiration (even though you’re booking before the expiration)

Unfortunately you tired to book a class EXACTLY two weeks before the expiration date. Like a coupon for groceries or a movie ticket, it is only valid until the expiration date. Once the expiration date has passed, it is expired. After the expiration, you still have the option to use the value of the coupon towards the class, but lose the discount.

We had to cancel many classes from October (when you bought your groupon) through December because we did not even have four people sign up for the class(es). Through any service based business, you must make reservations in advance to insure you get in before expiration. Keeping our classes small helps us spend more time with our guests, making the experience one that they will treasure. It was outlined in the “Highlights” section on our groupon feature that our class sizes are indeed small.

We hope that groupon purchasers will keep this in mind when purchasing groupons in the future, not just for our classes, but for all service based businesses.
