$2,999 for Complete Invisalign Treatment ($7,700 Value)

Invisalign straightens teeth with a series of clear, removable, custom aligners. The process begins at the dentist’s office, where, during an initial exam, the doctor snaps x-rays and takes impressions of the upper and lower teeth. In the Invisalign lab, technicians craft a set of up to 48 transparent aligners made to the patient’s exact specifications. Patients wear the removable aligners for 6–18 months, changing the aligners every two weeks and only removing them while eating, brushing, or modeling a finely clenched jaw.

Throughout the treatment, patients return to the dentist's office for routine checkups to ensure teeth continue to shift into their proper places. Read the Invisalign FAQs here.

Smile Design Dental Spa

As a teenager, Dr. Stacie Calian worked as an assistant in several dentists’ offices, which inspired her to later work as a dental hygienist and earn two masters degrees from Columbia University. From there, she left the practice to join academia, but she couldn’t resist the siren song of the dentist’s drill; soon after, she received a doctoral degree from Georgetown University School of Dentistry and amassed more than 18 years of clinical experience. Now, at her office, Dr. Calian and her team of smile stylists use a variety of high-tech instruments—from digital x-rays to Zoom! whitening lights and lasers that penetrate teeth without the heat, vibration, and pressure of the typical tiny chainsaws. Within a spa-like atmosphere, the staff performs services including Invisalign, Lumineers, and dental implants—procedures Dr. Calian is always looking to improve by furthering her training through continuing education.

The Groupon Guide to: Novelty Glasses

While traditional glasses are a handsomeness-destroying nuisance worn out of necessity rather than choice, many eccentric types have put a twist on the formula to come up with a popular variety of "novelty" spectacles. Which one is right for you?

Shutter Shades: You can see out, but no one else can see in, thus preserving for your future wife the honor of looking into your eyes for the first time.

Groucho Glasses: Styled after a popular comedian born in 1890, the world's last remaining pair of Groucho glasses will be recovered in 2029 by a boy rooting around in his grandfather's attic. The boy will briefly try them on, turning to his cousin to say "Hey, Jason, look—I'm a mustache man."

Dangling Slinky Eyeballs: These are gross, man—get 'em outta here!

Oversized Sunglasses: If regular sunglasses send the message "I'm here to party," then these oversized versions loudly declare "I am the party." If you're not wearing a pair of these right now, go back to bed and try life again tomorrow.

Can a pair of novelty glasses transform your entire life? Find out here.
