Seeing the world by bike beats seeing the world by bus, as bus tours are often ruined by engine exhaust, construction detours, and guides who deliver facts by honking them in Morse code. Enjoy the calm of an engine-free trek with this Groupon.
Choose Between Two Options

- $15 for $30 worth of bicycle rentals, bicycle-vehicle rentals, and other outdoor-gear rentals, such as a city bike ($12/hour) or a tandem bike ($15/hour). See the full lists of available rentals at the Boathouse Row location and at the LOVE Park location.
Armed with maps, helmets, locks, and lists of noteworthy sites, riders pile into surreys, deuce coupes, or bicycles, embarking on self-guided tours of Philadelphia. Routes guide riders down Boathouse Row, where bobbing homesteads dot the Schuylkill River, and toward famed city sites such as the Philadelphia Museum of Art. Jaunts into Olde Towne include pit stops at locales such as the US Mint and Penn's Landing, and forays into Fairmount Park meander by the Philadelphia Zoo. Wheel Fun Rentals recommends wearing comfortable clothes and shoes and bringing along sunglasses, sunscreen, and a camera. Surrey bikes are not available at the LOVE Park location.
Wheel Fun Rentals
When Brian McInerney reflects on the humble beginnings of Wheel Fun Rentals, Inc., he points to his childhood passion for bikes. "As far back as I can remember, I had a real love affair with bicycles," he recalls. During a trip to Italy in 1987, Brian's affinity for cycling blossomed into a full-fledged obsession when he spotted locals' transporter of choice, the surrey. Inspired, he began importing the Italian four-wheelers to a rental business in the U.S. that eventually expanded into Wheel Fun Rentals, now a nationwide web of shops that also loans out bikes, electric cars and mopeds, and man-powered watercraft. Adventuresome athletes can also compete in activities such as surrey scavenger hunts and blindfold obstacle courses navigated via shouted instructions from a seeing teammate or exceptionally long rounds of trial and error.
