Two unique cooking classes instruct participants in the art of crafting vegetarian style Classic North Indian Cuisine such as chickpea curry, Indian chai tea, palak pakoras, saag panner. Alternatively, the gluten-free rice-based South Indian Exotic Escape class teaches students how to create dishes such as steamed cakes, upma, and rice and bean crepes. Students are also given an introduction to spices and their medicinal value. Classes are limited to 6—11 people and include demonstrations and hands-on cooking.
Mala's Indian Cooking Classes
Nutritionist and chef Mala Patel guides participants through a demonstration and hands-on, introductory class that covers essential spices and techniques of Indian cooking.
