$175 for Roars and Snores Camping Expedition ($350 Value)

Campers ages 12 and up arrive to the park at 4 p.m., where they’ll check-in at guest services and enjoy a catered dinner before heading out to their campsite. During the expedition guests will be able to feed and interact with the animals. Though the animals won’t be in the enclosures where the campers are staying, from inside their tents included with this deal they can hear the sounds of their roars or snores coming from the dens where the lions and bears stay for the night. At the end of the night, campers enjoy a campfire with s’mores. Before the 9 a.m. departure the next day, campers will feed breakfast to lions or bears with the assistance of staff and then eat breakfast themselves before receiving a gift.

Wildlife Safari

The 600-acre park plays host to visitors who drive through the more than four miles of winding grounds to catch up-close glimpses of its inhabitants—over 550 wild animals from Africa, Asia, and the Americas. Bison, zebras, and giraffes roam the wide-open surroundings, living in harmony with tigers, lions, and bears. Founded by Frank Hart in 1972, the park has helped to protect endangered species while educating the public about them and their important roles in the fragile ecosystem. Visitors can make arrangements for private and personalized animal encounters as well as visit the safari village zoo, botanical gardens, and gift shop.
