$13 for a Two-Course Dinner for Two (Up to $27 Value)

Duos nosh on one appetizer and two entrees. Appetizers include housemade fish cakes or crispy calamari served with tzatziki sauce. Windjammer's menu is known for its beer-battered pacific cod, halibut, and sockeye salmon served with chips. They also craft oyster po' boys, grilled halibut with bruschetta salsa, and hearty hamburgers.

Windjammer Restaurant

Windjammer Restaurant's dedication to crispy fish and chips and quality beer earned it first place among the Stars of Vancouver Readers' Choice Awards in 2011. To create their acclaimed crunchy dish, the chefs fry pieces of pacific cod, halibut, or sockeye salmon, and they also grill hearty burgers and pile oysters and toppings onto po' boys. The same quality beer they use for their fish is also on tap at the bar, with draughts from Sun God wheat ale and Red Truck lager. The bartenders also serve imported bottled beers, uncork wines from across North America, and mix tasty drinks and shots.

The Groupon Guide to: Tricking Your Kids into Eating Vegetables

Kids don't want to eat vegetables because vegetables aren't fun. Make legumes laughably fun with these tips for preparing vegetables:

  • Put black beans on circular slices of potato to give your kids healthier "chocolate-chip cookies."

  • Cut corn off the cob and offer their picky palates some "rotten goblin teeth."

  • Mash yams and your young ones will be thrilled to eat "a very sick man's innards."

  • An avocado kind of looks like a hand grenade.

  • Remove the strings from celery. Kids will voluntarily eat celery if it's not strung like some kind of ridiculous violin.

Mom, can I have seconds of goblin teeth?
