The festival will run from 11 a.m. to midnight on Saturday, March 9, at The Serengeti Resort. Children younger than 5 are admitted for free.

Kids and grownups alike explore a world of adventure at The Serengeti Resort's first-ever Wine to Wildlife Festival. Allotted five activity tickets per person, families roam a landscape of food vendors, live music, and a savannah's worth of exotic animals. In addition to a souvenir wine goblet, each adult also receives five food tickets. Additional food and activity tickets are available at $1 apiece.

Face painters help little ones fit in with the giraffes and zebras, all of whom have butterflies on their cheeks, and the festival culminates in a performance from the Klocks, a cover band of sonic shape shifters who might emulate Usher, Lady Gaga, Train, Sir Mix-A-Lot, and ZZ Top, all in one show.

Wine to Wildlife Festival

African drums beat out an inviting rhythm and giraffes peek over the hedge as foodies, oenophiles, and animal lovers of all ages pull up to The Serengeti Resort for the Wine to Wildlife Festival. Packs of exotic animals from zebras to camels freely graze the rolling pseudosavannah, forming a wild backdrop to the festival's picnic lunch at the Johlami Wine & Deli Shoppe. The park's shady oak tree, abundance of food trucks, and absence of bow-tie-wearing bears make this a memorable family event, complete with self-guided animal tours on one of the resort's safari carts. Live tunes run the gamut from world music to pop, completing the party-animal atmosphere.
