Wines for Humanity's professional wine advisers lead in-home tastings that teach patrons the finer points of the five-point wine-tasting technique and raise funds for local charities. As students sip seven exclusive vintages, they learn to judge wines color, aroma, and voting record, as well as pick out suitable food pairings.

Wine for Humanity will bring glasses and deliver wines to the home before the tasting event, and hosts are encouraged to prepare complementary cheese and crackers. Wines will be available for purchase, at an average of $20 per bottle, and for every bottle of wine purchased at an event, Wines for Humanity will donate $1 to local charities that help to pay rent for families on the brink of homelessness.
