$79 for a Winemaking Experience with 30 Bottles of Wine ($169 Value)

Guests select a wine from Winexpert North York's Selection International Series, choosing from the following varietals: Chilean chardonnay, Italian pinot grigio, Chilean merlot, or Chilean cabernet sauvignon. After mixing the ingredients and sprinkling in yeast, patrons return six weeks later to bottle and label their wine. Labels, wraps, and corks are provided. After bottling, customers take their wine home, where it continues to age.

Winexpert North York

Based on eight detailed criteria, from type and country of origin to oak intensity and timeframe, Winexpert North York's resident winemaker Jason Killackey matches guests with more than 100 varietals from around the world. Once they select their wine, visitors mix their ingredients into a primary fermentation container and sprinkle in yeast at Winexpert's microwinery, letting their batches ferment for approximately six weeks. Then, with the facility's pneumatic corkers and bottle washing service, patrons sanitize and fill their bottles before dressing each with a customized label and decorative shrink cap. Customers take wines home after bottling, where they continue to age until customers enjoy their first sip or christen a new ocean liner.
