Sewers opting for one of the two-class packages may take one beginner and one advanced class or two advanced classes, depending on current skill level. During beginner classes, students learn to thread a needle, work with a sewing machine, and manage different fabrics. In advanced classes, learners create personalized bags or pillows with a fabric of their choice. Skip the first class if you can already sew and comfortably use a sewing machine. The Brentwood location holds beginner classes on Monday, Tuesday, Friday, and Saturday from 10 a.m. to noon and advanced classes on Tuesday and Friday from 3 p.m. to 5 p.m. The Dickson location offers beginner classes on Wednesday and Thursday from 10 a.m. to noon and on Saturday from 3 p.m. to 5 p.m., and advanced classes are held on Wednesday and Thursday from 3 p.m. to 5 p.m.
