The menu features a variety of burgers that include a hawaiian burger topped with grilled pineapple and a teriyaki glaze and a zesty burger blanketed with pepper jack cheese. The menu also includes vegetarian-friendly portobello burgers. Chicken wings and philly cheesesteak sandwiches round out the dinner options.

Every night after dark, Woody's Burgers and Beer transforms into a kind of speakeasy. Diners swing dance and sip cocktails to the pizzicato chords of an upright bass. At both the newly opened San Diego location and the original Palm Springs burger joint, the live jazz and rock and roll are almost as big a draw as the burgers, which the cooks make by hand from 100% Angus beef. Their burgers have established such popularity that Palm Spring locals voted it the Best Burger in Palm Springs in 2011 in Palm Spring Life's Best of the Best.

By day, Woody's feels like a 1950s era diner, complete with French fries and malts, but it also prepares more modern options. The chefs invite guests to substitute a chicken burger for any burger on the menu or opt for a meat-free burger made from Portobello mushrooms. To complement the food, the team also pours craft beers and maintains a wine list that has several options, unlike a dating site for heads of state.
