Commonly Asked Questions

I see that it is in the City Museum. In order to use this Groupon, do you first have to pay the City Museum admission fee?

Dear David, It is not required that you pay admission to City Museum in order to do this tour. However, if you want to see City Museum before or after the tour, you do have to pay them. Hope this helps.

Would the 'sharks up close' experience be appropriate for a 6 year old? My grandson loves sharks but I'm afraid this might be 'over his head'.

Cathy S. asked 7 months, 14 days, 10 hours, and 42 minutes ago - 1 answer

Dear Cathy, Suitability for a six year old is really dependent upon your six year old. The tour is two hours. While we do try to make the tour as interactive and interesting as possible, there is a lot of information given via the spoken word. In general, we recommend that children be at least five years of age of extended length tours like this. I hope this information helps.

i wanted to do the dinner but was confused about what this entails. Does any of these options allow for you to be in the water with the sharks? My husband and i are both scuba certified and wondered if you have any options for an underwater experience? Thanks, stpehanie

stephanie . asked 7 months, 12 days, 23 hours, and 20 minutes ago - 1 answer

Leonard S.

Dear Stephanie, The Sharkology ticket package includes two tickets for our Sharks - Up Close Tour. The Sharks-Up Close Tour does not include getting into the water with sharks. You will feed and touch sharks, but there is no diving, wading, etc. Hope this helps!
