$49 for a Beginner Photography Class ($450 Value)

The two-day photography class is held in the studio for four hours on Saturdays and on-location for two hours on Sundays. Choose from the following weekends and times:

  • March 16–17 at 9 a.m.
  • March 16–17 at 2 p.m.
  • March 23–24 at 9 a.m.
  • March 23–24 at 2 p.m.
  • April 6–7 at 9 a.m.
  • April 6–7 at 2 p.m.

Saturday classes are held in Sacremento. Sunday adventures take place in Folsom.

Burgeoning photographs learn how to operationally navigate their cameras while familiarizing themselves with different settings. They will find what lenses are best for each situation, how to read light, and frame for proper composition. By the end of the workshop, students will have more photographic confidence in their artist undertakings. The workshop also includes how to pose and read light for all situations relating to portraits in an outside setting and go over the benefits of shooting with a studio set up.

The Saturday class includes an introduction to photography, including how to manually set exposure on a digital camera and basic composition. The next day, a hands-on shoot lets students put their knowledge into practice. Interested students can also add on to their package with instruction in product photography for the online marketplace for an additional fee. Cameras are not required for the photo expedition, but they are encouraged.
