If I purchase this can I take the $30 Groupon in to Xiao and use it towards the purchase of a Gift Certificate?

No you can not. Groupon basically is a gift certificate with an expiration date. With the purchase of a Gift Certificate from a Groupon, it would eliminate the expiration period which goes against Groupons business structure

I bought this for 15.00, but the actual groupon did not state $30.00. It states a value of $15.00,

You might be reading it wrong. This Groupon is valid for $30 worth of Food & Drink, purchased at $15.
