The Sprint off-road triathlon consists of a 750-meter swim, 15-kilometer mountain bike course, and is capped of by a 5-kilometer trail run.

XTERRA designs its off-road triathlon, 5K, 10K, and half-marathon trail runs to be fun for runners of all strides. Half-marathon winners in each age group earn free entry to the XTERRA Trail Running World Championship held on Oahu, Hawaii, later this year.
