$35 for One Ticket to "Living in America" (Up to $75 Value)

On Saturday, January 19, at 8:30 p.m., guests gather at Sport Club/LA to meet special-guest athletes and celebrities—including Mýa, singer extraordinaire—and amp up their pulses in honor of the health work championed by First Lady Michelle Obama. During the evening, a YaLa dance session incorporates an interactive video with a live DJ to pump energy levels and tone bodies. DJ tunes and a Lululemon fashion show round out the events before the party heads to the after party for champagne and signature cocktails provided by Bacardi and hors d’oeuvres from Energy Kitchen. Guests should wear their fitness clothes and be ready to move. Check out the details at YaLa Fitness's home page.

YaLa Fitness

When Oprah wanted to inspire her audience to get in shape on the “Live Your Best Life” tour, she called Laurent Amzallag. When JC Hayward wanted to get her studio moving, she called Laurent Amzallag. When CBS wanted to host regular segments to get their viewers up off the couch, they called Laurent Amzallag. There’s a reason so many are drawn to this spellbinding fitness guru: the YaLa inventor and all-around lady-killer cloaks gym-ready exercises in fun dance moves to create his own fun brand of exercise.

YaLa routines fold tenets of plyometrics, core training, cardio, and agility together for fast-paced, high-energy sessions that whip bodies into shape without repetitive lunges, boring squats, or tedious uphill boulder rolls. Laurent and his team also host special YaLa events and outreach activities, such as the Michael Jackson–soundtracked “Believe” workout party and fundraisers for the local children’s hospital.
