We are capable of transferring professionally recorded footage, but we must follow the US Copyright Laws when transferring all professional footage. Any copyright-protected material, such as Hollywood movie videotapes and videotaped television programs, cannot be processed without a copyright release form signed by the copyright owner. With image transfers, we produce a data DVD with highest quality digital JPEG files (12 megapixels) to view and copy on your computer; the product is delivered without additional themes or audio. Our EasyShip Kits are priced at $19.99. With the EasyShip Kit, all you do is place an order for the kit, pack up your materials in the box we provide and send to us via prepaid postage. We do the rest-- including reviewing your materials, giving you an estimate, and then placing your order for you (the prepaid postage you receive will include our address). It is important to note that the EasyShip Kit does not including the completed order's shipping back to you, which would cost a flat $10.99. In case you are wondering, you can definitely use part of your Groupon value toward the EasyShip Kit and shipping if you would like to do so!

Hi James, thanks for the question. The YesDVD we create is copyrighted, but not copy protected. This means that YesVideo owns the design of the product and software on the DVD, but certainly not the content. Since the files on the disc are not restricted, as long as you have your own editing software for Windows or Mac, you will be able to edit your YesDVD.

I would also like to take this time to let you know that all video tape and film orders will include access to our MemoryShare website which will allow you to view, share, and edit your videos. While you won't be able to edit the footage prior to receiving a DVD, you can always use our online editing tool to create an additional customized DVD for $8.99 plus shipping.
