I have 3 small canisters and one a bit larger. Not sure whether these are called 8mm or 16mm. They date back to 1978 so I can't remember what's in them. The questions: Will I be advised of the total cost (using the groupon)? Is each tape $19.99? What about the larger one? Do you charge by the hour of film(like 2 hrs for 19.99?) How do I know how many hrs of film I am submitting?

Great question, Reynaldo! The deal is for you to spend the $60 any way you wish for our supported media types. So, the $60's worth is dependent on the quantity and type of media you would like to transfer. Our film transfers are not priced per reel or hour, but at $0.18 per foot. To calculate what you can get out of the Groupon along with the estimated total of your order with the media that you have, you can visit our page here and tell us what you have; it will automatically give you a quote depending on the quantity you enter! The ad states 3 two hour VHS tapes. Am I limited to 3 tapes, or may I send in 6 hours worth of tapes on more than 3 tapes?

Thanks for the question, William. Our pricing is $19.99 per video tape, up to two hours. We do not merge tapes together, so each tape submitted will be transferred on to its own DVD and have a base price of $19.99. Although you are able to submit as many tapes as you like, the Groupon will only cover up to its $60 value which would be equivalent to three tapes with a duration time of 2 hours or less. Hi Karen, thanks for the question. There are no charges associated with viewing, sharing, and storing your videos on our cloud service, MemoryShare. However, it is important to note that not all transfers include this service. At this time, MemoryShare is only available for video tape, film, and digital media transfers.
