I have 3 - 16mm film reels from high school that I would like to convert and was wanting to see what that would cost and what format you would recommend?

Thanks for the question, Pam. We can transfer 16mm films to DVD. Our pricing is $0.18 per foot of film to DVD. Since the charge is per foot, you need to measure the diameter of your reel to find out how many feet of film it holds. For example, a 3" reel can hold 50 feet and if you have 3 3" reels then the estimated cost to transfer 150 feet of footage is $27 (without tax or shipping). I have many 30-minute Hi-8 tapes I need converted. Would this deal apply to the equivalent time of three, two-hour tapes if that time is divided among shorter tapes? In other words, can I send twelve 30-min tapes instead of three two-hour tapes for the same price? (Since it's the same total minutes?) Thank you.

Hi Sarah! We do not merge tapes together, so each tape submitted will be transferred on to its own DVD and have a base price of $19.99. Any tape exceeding two hours will require a new DVD to be made, with a cost of $19.99 per additional DVD created. With the Groupon offer, you are receiving three transfers for the price of one! With image transfers, we produce a data DVD with highest quality digital JPEG files (12 megapixels) to view and copy on your computer; the product is delivered without additional themes or audio. The files on the DVD are not restricted, so you can use the image files to create prints. Thanks for the question, Carol! Our pricing is $19.99 per video tape, up to two hours. We do not merge tapes together, so each tape submitted will be transferred on to its own DVD and have a base price of $19.99. The 2 hour limit is listed in the event that you have a tape longer than two hours. Since the DVDs can hold up to 2 hours, any tape exceeding two hours will require a new DVD to be made and a cost of $19.99 per additional DVD created. Since the Groupon deal is for $60 worth of our service, that would be equivalent to 3 two-hour tapes or 1 six-hour tape!
