Yoga House Houston's certified instructors share their passion for the practice during 90-minute Vinyasa- and Hatha-style classes. The studio’s robust schedule takes place in a heated studio, where Hatha yoga classes help students of all abilities work to make muscles more malleable while ridding the body of harmful toxins, making room for the more pleasurable toxins of the weekend. Alternatively, during Vinyasa flows, students work through a sequence of continuous postures linked together with deep, mindful breathing techniques.

Yoga House instructors also share the art of Kemetic yoga, a style that was discovered through interpretations and translations of hieroglyphs found in the Kemetic temples of Egypt, which may rival the claims that yoga is indigenous to India. They base the routines off of geometric postures aimed at creating spinal alignment, working to ease bodily discomfort and increase circulation.

Yoga House Houston

Some believe that you must leave home before you can truly find yourself. The instructors at Yoga House Houston didn't just leave their homes to find themselves—they left their native country, traveling across the globe to India, Malaysia, Indonesia, and Jamaica to learn, practice, and master the ancient art of yoga. They impart the wisdom they've gleaned from their journeys within a building whose exterior resembles the clay walls of a Spanish mission. Atop dark hardwood floors, they lead students through Hatha, Ashtanga, Vinyasa, hot yoga, and spine-aligning Kemetic yoga, aiming to help yogis sculpt long, lean muscles, improve endurance, and calm fidgety spirit animals.

The Groupon Guide to: Pranks

Television prank shows have never been more popular. Old people are pranking young people, young people are pranking young people, and middle-age life is its own kind of twisted prank. Get in on the jocular action with these fun-loving pranks:

  • Dump out the prankee's shampoo and replace it with small, round lead pellets.
  • Replace the prankee's delicious, wet-centered eggs with useless hard-boiled eggs.
  • Set free all of your prankee's horses and valuable livestock.
  • Switch the contents of your prankee's suitcase with the contents of someone else's suitcase at the airport. You've actually pranked two people, you goofy monster.
  • Switch identities with your prankee (unless they have a criminal record or bad spouse).

Is anyone pranking middle-aged people?
