I’m sorry, but I think this is an extra-lame Groupon. Yogaworks always offers a low price on 2 weeks of unlimited classes. Then once you’ve taken advantage of the offer, you’re considered an “existing student” and not eligible for any good discounts/promos. I actually suggested a yogaworks deal to Groupon, but… you need to give the people what they want! YogaWorks, you should have followed the examples of the other workout places (Studio City Pilates, Bar Method) that went before you. Offer something of real value. A package of 10 at a discounted price. And make it open for existing clients!

And for those of you who aren’t current students at YW, since they don’t have prices on their website, I will tell you that a single class there is approx $23. Its much higher than several other studios in the area. You can buy a package, but you have to buy several sessions in order to get the price down to what a single class costs at a lot of other places.

I am glad I read this post before purchase! I did not notice it was for first time students or those who have not taken a class in a year. I was quoted $85 per month for membership. I was going to buy 1 month with this coupon but attended a class in Jan. so…I guess I am not eligible. Too bad!

lisa K.

I have to agree, you can just get that deal by going to one of there studios? If you are a new student you can go there a week for free now. Do not go to the Santa Monica studio though, I went to a class there, and the teacher yelled at me because I had mistakenly walked into an experienced class, So I walked out and called the manager and told her how embarrassed she made me feel and that she basically scolded me out in front of the entire class, the manager did nothing about it.

I don’t get why everyone is complaining. Yes, read the fine print. But I am in the process of trying different studios and find these types of promotions perfect. Also, look at Yelp to decide if it is a good place to go, parking, ect.

And yes, I am a new student and when I called last month it was $30 for two weeks. Glad to get the discount. One week is not enough and Iwill happily pay a class fee to find out if I like there studios versus other ones in LA.

Hi all,

This Groupon is $15 for a 2 week session – there have been occasional specials in the past where it is $30 – so this is actually 50% off the normal special!

Hope you enjoy!

Yes, it wasn’t really even fine-print. It says right in the main description area. I’ve never taken yoga so this was a perfect opportunity to try it out. Which, lets face it, is the whole point of these Groupons—to generate ongoing business at REGULAR prices.

Can we use this offer for the YogaWorks studios in the OC or is this only for LA studios?

Jeri .

Can I use the groupon at multiple locations or must they all be used at 1 studio?

Rachel L.

The groupon page lists which yogaworks you can use this at.

nancy

With this groupon can I attend yoga classes everyday for the two weeks or is there a limit per week?

Caren W.

Just want to make sure this can be used at the South Bay location (Plaza El Segundo)…it was listed on the groupon page but when you print out the actual groupon ticket it shows only three and says “3 of 8 locations” but doesn’t say the other 5.

You can take as many classes (2 a day if you have the energy!) at any of our 8 Los Angeles locations; Main Street & Montana in Santa Monica, Center for Yoga (Larchmont), Westwood, Pacific Palisades, South Bay, Valencia and Westlake Village. You can try all 8 locations and a variety of class styles during your 2 weeks.

Rich W.

I am confused…is this a charge to use yoga works without classes and then you pay for each class on top of the $15 for the 2 weeks or is it unlimited classes for the total of $15?

Brad

$15 gets you unlimited classes at any of the 8 YogaWorks locations in Los Angeles for 2 weeks.

$15 gives access to unlimited yoga classes for 2 consecutive weeks at any of the 8 Los Angeles studios listed – no other charges or fees, no tax, no gratuity, just 2 weeks of unlimited yoga for $15

Is there a “start date” for this? I’m unable to start the 2 weeks until the end of April is that ok?

You can start your 2 weeks of yoga within 3 months (June 25, 2010) from date of sale so you can start anytime between now and the end of June.

is there any parking at the westwood location?

I believe that I read you can buy a $10 parking permit somewhere on the Westwood’s website.

Mary D.

I really think YogaWorks should offer this Groupon to existing students who have suppoted the company for a long time and not just new students.

Michael G.

doesnt look like they need to with almost 1500 sold.

Karen B.

will this be valid at the new Tarzana location?

This won’t be valid at Tarzana because the studio won’t be open in 3 months time. Perhaps there will be another Groupon for Tarzana. It is not feasible for YogaWorks to offer this to existing students – however, there are special promotions held in the studio for current students. Check flyers, emails from yogaworks and phone calls from yogaworks where current student promotions are announced.

Ok, I wanted my husband to use this groupon, and I marked a gift option and everything, but it still has my name on it since I payed. Can he still use this coupon? Because he is the one who is new to yogaworks, although I think he has an actual account. I created one for him a loooong time ago.

Kimberly A.

I haven’t used my groupon yet. The times just haven’t worked for me. Can I return it and get my money back?

Cherri C.

I read above that the coupon could be used until June 25, but when I log on, it shows my cpupon expires on 6/21 or maybe it was 6/22 – does anyone know which is actually correct?
I won’t be back in town from a business trip until 6/24, so I’ll be so upset if I can’t actually use it on 6/25.

Andy D.

Hi Everyone,

Thank you for purchasing the YogaWorks Groupon! In order to accommodate everyone, the folks at YogaWorks have extended the expiration date through June 30th for this Groupon. So if you haven’t used your Groupon yet, you still have time to enjoy your yoga classes!

Andy,

I’m confused. I printed my groupon a day or two after I bought it and have been waiting for the Tarzana studio to open. My printed groupon clearly states “No Expiration” what is going on with 6/22 extended to 6/30?

Thanks in advance.

Eric J.

Can someone respond to my previous post? I can FAX my printed “no expiration” groupon if you are not already aware of this problem.

Hayley C.

I went to access my groupons to use them before the new expiry date which is tomorrow, and they are no longer listed under my account (not under used, current, expired, etc.)
They are nowhere to be seen.

I wanted to go to Yogaworks tonight with my husband (I bought one for each of us) and I’m upset that they’ve been removed from my Groupon account.

Andy – can you please respond?
