When a man gets in trouble, he’s said to be “in the doghouse"; when a dog gets in trouble, he’s said to be “in the doghouse” since only humans can speak and they naturally define all terms in relation to themselves. Give your canine comrades what they’d ask for if they could with this Groupon.

Choose from Four Options

  • $15 for 1 night of boarding for one dog (a $35 value)
  • $35 for 3 nights of boarding for one dog (a $105 value)
  • $59 for 5 days of pet daycare for one dog (a $125 value)
  • $99 for 10 days of pet daycare for one dog (a $225 value)

During boarding, canines rest easily in 10'x4' indoor runs with heated floors and solid walls. Owners should bring their pups in with bagged, one-meal portions of dog food and records of distemper, kennel cough, and rabies vaccines. Daycare provides a supervised place for dogs to socialize and play with other canines, with breaks for naps, food, and writing postcards to loved ones. Drop-off and pickup times are 7 a.m. to 9 a.m. and 4 p.m. to 6 p.m., respectively.

York Bark & Play

York Bark & Play’s owner and operator, Liz York, lives onsite, caring for four-legged residents using knowledge culled from previous jobs at a horse stable and a large kennel. Her pet haven—formerly Thee Privileged Pet—has undergone extensive renovations and reopened, and now boasts two indoor play areas and a large yard. During the day, the kennel provides daycare, with pets enjoying two supervised sessions of outdoor playtime, lunch, and a nap. Overnight guests chase Zs in 10’x4’ indoor runs with heated floors and noise-reducing solid walls. Felines relax in a separated quiet room with three-level cat condos that give them ample space to move about and host milk-tasting parties.
