$25 for Two Kids' Cooking Classes ($50 Value)

Highly qualified teachers, chefs, and nutritional experts teach basic nutrition and culinary skills during kids' cooking classes. In the 90-minute Kindercooks class, up to 15 tykes 3–7 years old learn to cook based on themes, such as the Letter Y class, where they learn to make dishes that start with Y, such as yummy pizza on a stick and broiled yo-yos. In the Junior Chefs class, up to 20 kids aged 4–14 learn a more well-rounded cooking approach that incorporates elements of kitchen safety and etiquette. This deal is not valid for Senior Chefs classes.

Young Chefs Academy

Young Chefs Academy's chefs, teachers, and nutritional experts introduce youngsters to basic culinary skills, pairing creative cooking with lessons in kitchen safety and etiquette. Classes follow themes, such as Chill and Grill or Take Me Out to the Ballgame, and teach kids how to cook dishes that fall within that theme. Kindercooks classes gear recipes and nutrition lessons toward preschool attention spans, while Junior Chefs and Senior Chefs sessions gradually introduce more well-rounded, in-depth techniques and concepts. Along with classes, Young Chefs Academy passes its culinary passion onto kids during parties, camps, field trips, and lemonade-stand budget meetings.

The Groupon Guide to: Making a Goofy Face

If we each spend just 15 minutes a day making a goofy face in public, this big old bowl of soup we call "Earth" won't seem quite as tasteless. Here are some tips on how to goof up your face:

  • To make a goofy smile, simply angle the corners of your lips down instead of up.

  • Stick your open hands behind your head so you look like you're either a moose or a person whose head is growing 10 fleshy nubs.

  • Turn around before making a face. That way the person you're with won't have to watch you try to fold your eyelids in half several times, if that's how you choose to make your goofy face.

  • Puff up your cheeks. You can do this the traditional way—with your breath—or the delicious way—with a pound of meatloaf.

  • For the "inverse," you'll want to shave off your head hair and glue the clippings onto your face. You'll also probably want to start walking backward and draw two eyes, a nose, and a mouth on the hairless portion of your head with lipstick. Have a friend do it too and then your inverse faces can kiss each other. That's wild!

Would the world be a better place if everyone walked around with a mouthful of meatloaf?
