Kids, like Ponce de León, need constant supervision while exploring, or they’ll simply vanish into a jungle in search of eternal youth. Let sprouts traverse the exotic land of kitchens under the eye of a culinary tour guide with this Groupon.

Choose from Three Options

  • $38 for your choice of three kids' cooking classes (up to a $90 value)
  • $14 for your choice of one kids' cooking class (up to a $30 value)
  • $25 for $50 worth of classes, birthday parties, or summer camps

In the Kindercooks program, children ages 3–5 eschew their bulb ovens and play-doh beef Wellington recipes to learn fundamental culinary skills alongside their parents. Older students don puffed white hats and aprons for the Junior Chef and Senior Chef courses, delving into different monthly themes. Aspiring sous chefs also enhance their math, reading, and science skills as they measure ingredients and follow recipes. Prices vary by age; classes for children age 3–5 are normally $15 per session. Summer camps run in two sessions for three days a week, Tuesday–Thursday from 9 a.m.–noon or 1 p.m.–4 p.m. During each 9-hour session, participants learn to make everything from homemade popsicles to fresh pasta, pizza, and breads with which to trade the ice-cream man for extra popsicles.
