Art helps people reach a wide audience without shouting from the top of radio towers, provocatively dancing behind a local TV field reporter, or tying speech bubbles to migrating birds. Express yourself with this Groupon.

Choose Between Two Options

  • $35 for a painting class for two (a $70 value)
  • $49 for a jewelry-making or mosaics class for two (a $100 value)

Pairs of students experiment with different artistic styles and media as they paint a scene or piece together a mosaic landscape. Each class includes aprons, brushes, paints, and all other needed materials. See the class calendar. Classes are also held in the Fountain Square and Greenwood area; call business for more information.

Your Artistic Spirits

Helmed by a team of local artists, Your Artistic Spirits holds informal visual-arts consortia in local venues such as Bier Brewery, Black Swan Brewpub, and Bodega. At each location, they welcome participants of all skill levels and disciplines to sip wine, beer, or spirits as they make art focused in a range of artistic styles, from neoclassical busts to avant-garde booms. Instructors guide attendees through step-by-step instruction to create original works in one chosen medium, such as acrylics, watercolors, sculpting clay, or papier-mâché. When not conducting public classes and private parties, artistic staffers lead team-building workshops and art-therapy programs for children and adults.
