Packet pickup begins at 6 a.m. on Saturday, November 10, at Stephens Lake Park, and the first wave departs at 7 a.m. Zombie and human costumes are highly encouraged. See complete race-day details here.

Zombie Rampage 5K Run

At the Zombie Rampage 5K Run, the horror and excitement of the mythicized zombie apocalypse comes to life at Stephens Lake Park. Runners choose whether they want to be zombies or humans. Humans get a head start and attempt to outrun zombies looking to "infect" (tag) them and take their human cards. In turn, zombies must safeguard their health flags, which can be stolen by humans or other zombies. At the end of the race, the fastest human wins, and the zombie who infected the most humans while maintaining at least one health flag wins. Throughout the course, runners can avail themselves of first-aid stations or hydration stations as the need arises. All proceeds from the Zombie Rampage 5K Run benefit the University of Missouri Rowing Club.
