Groupon Says
The Ballad of Bar and Grill
Bar was sad. "I'm sad," Bar said,
To Grill, his girl, long-distant,
"'Cross town our tender love is spread,
It has to end this instant."
To Bar, Grill said, on video chat,
"We are agreed on this, I fear,
But how can we traverse the gulf,
Betwixt our there and here?"
"A business plan," barked Bar, enthused,
A dreaming, neon schemer,
"Consolidate the food and booze?"
Grinned Grill, in glib demeanor.
The lovebirds chose a vacant lot,
And blended their foundations,
To form a place, part eatery
Part fountain of libations.
This is the tale of Bar and Grill,
Their lasting love and laughter
Lives on where drinkers also dine,
And diners cocktail after.
