No breakfast, even if they say there is one! At this kind of price you do not expect a palace. The rooms are big enough, the beds are goods, everything in the bathroom is working well. But there is a big issue: the breakfast is not existing. I was there 3 day. One day there was no breakfast at all. The 2 other days the breakfast was so poor you can't call that a breakfast: some slices of bread, jam. That's all ! Coffee machine was out of order, no waffle, nothing hot. Really under expectation Note that the swimming pool is very small, directly on the parking lot, with all the noise of the highway. Nobody uses it!

Houston I-10 Visit Stayed for over a week. This is not a hotel i would usually stay at but for the time i stayed there and the price it costed, it wasn't too bad but it has its pros and cons. It was in a good location for my needs and visit, the bed was extremely comfortable and the shower was refreshing and relaxing. The AC kept the room at a comfortable temperature. The room was quite spacious for having a single bed. The rooms could of been cleaner, found a used condom wrapper where you hang your clothes. Some of the towels/wash clothes were stained, the sink had little to no water pressure at all. The drain in the shower was clogged causeing the water to drain slow. It does seem like a lot of truckers come and go as they all took up the parking space with their trucks and trailers. The people that was at the front desk were helping when checking in/out and extending our stay along with accommodateing other things we needed. However, it seemed like a certain few would bring their families in and let them lounge around in the dinning area or use the pool or other facilities. The downstairs computer never worked, always said "Temporarily out of Order" and the posted signs weren't being followed or enforced, people would bring pets. Again for the price and location, it wasn't terrible as long as you don't have a problem with the cons i mentioned. They really didn't bother me, i was just stating what i observed while staying.

Watch Your Deposit Made a reservation through Priceline (Booking.Com). Cancelled months ahead of stay. Still trying to get my refund. Priceline referred me to Booking.Com. They referred me to hotel. Never heard anything. Wary of this hotel.

Clean Rooms, Quiet stay, Next to Luby's Cafeteria Do NOT overlook this hotel due to its older outside appearance! Value hospitality if offered at this Comfort Inn East. The breakfast was okay with rotating entrees. However, the yogurt inventory could be improved. Often, it appeared they were afraid to place more food out. With many high school groups staying during our stay, I wonder why the desk staff did not communicate the the breakfast staff how many people to prepare for. Often, food ran out, or I was greeted by frozen ice cold muffins and bread items. Yogurt ran out. On the plus side, pudding and boiled eggs were in the refrigerator 24/7. Rooms were clean and laundry room was functional. Best reason to stay here? The Luby's Cafeteria is right across the road.
