Old, but it adds character. Coming from Austin i read some reviews and was skeptic since i couldn’t personally see the place myself while staying the weekend for Beyoncé’s concert. I will say that Blossom was a gem during check-in and overall the staff was really accommodating and sweet. It is an older building so definitely some lamp shades and light cords may need some replacing, as well as a few more renovations which i believe they are doing, but overall if you’re looking for a place to put your head at night and not be charged over $500 then this is the place, i had a spacious king bed with NO issues. If you’re looking for food there’s a few restaurants within a 4-5 mile radius. Overall our stay was great and quiet, no issues and will definitely be coming back for any future concerts.

Great location and price for NRG events Ups: The 1 bedroom suite was absolutely incredible. One room had 2 queen bds w/bathroom. The other room was a living room with a queen size sofa bed, desk, extra seat and a bathroom. Both rooms had a TV. Downs: hair drier didn’t work in one of the bathrooms. And the light/vent on the other made a horrible noise. There is free parking but we had cars burglarize during the night ( we stayed for Rolling Stones concert). Not the hotel fault. So make sure you don’t leave anything visible in your car. They were booked so there was hardly any breakfast items when we went to eat. Close to 9 am.

NEVER Again! Don't even know where to start. I had 2 rooms booked, one for myself and one for my daughter and her son. Since my granddaughter was graduating, we needed to be near to the NRG stadium. The first room (room 204) reeked of cigarette smoke, FRESH cigarette smoke. My daughter was then given room 208 where the television didn't work. The 3rd room (206) had horrible stains on the carpet, the shower head was caked with lime deposit and the bedside lights were very difficult to turn on. The tv in the other room (210, my room) was smaller than a computer monitor and the cable service is a joke. Nothing but local channels and half of them didn't work. The internet NEVER worked in any room. The carpet in the rooms is filthy. My feet were black after walking barefoot. Disgusting. My other daughter and her family had booked a suite where they found drug paraphernalia in the sofa when the removed the cushions and on the balcony. Their tv didn't work (why aren't tv's working?) and they could not pull out the sofa sleeper. I did report this and got a polite, but policy response from “Kathy” at Customer Care with the usual apology and using my experience to make improvements, etc. None of that means anything when no improvements are made. There's a reason this hotel continues to have the ratings it does. I will NEVER stay here again nor recommend this hotel to anybody.

Terrible DO NOT STAY HERE I would not recommend this “hotel” at all. The bathroom ceiling in shower was covered in mold. The hallway smelled of marijuana all the time. People fighting that live there. Lighting was terrible in the hallways. TVs do not work well and fuzzy. The buildings are falling apart. If you like cereal and waffles that’s breakfast, also the juice dispenser did not work. Only good thing is the closeness to MDAnderson. If you are traveling for cancer related issues DO NOT stay here. Rooms are musty and smell of mold. See pictures with my review.
