Paintings are a window into the artist's thoughts, from Pollock's chaotic canvases to the little frowny faces on each star in Starry Night. Paint it out with this Groupon.

During three-hour group painting classes, Purple Easel's patient instructors provide all the materials necessary to create an original work of art, and students may bring their own beverages and snacks. All students will be creating their paintings based on the same image, and participants should remember to bring their own glasses, ice, and bottle openers, and be prepared to leave with their personal masterpiece.
Purple Easel
Although not everyone is destined to achieve Picasso-esque greatness, the artists of Purple Easel believe that within every person lies a vein of creativity. They aim to tap that creative spirit with laid-back painting sessions for adults, kids, and corporate groups. So that repeat customers aren't leaving with copies of the same painting, Purple Easel's two- and three-hour sessions help students create a variety of projects, from beach landscapes to braying zebras. Participants aged 21 and older can fuel their artistic visions with their favorite wine, beer, and snacks brought from home, whereas kids can drink in the rave reviews given by their aspiring art-critic friends.
