Though using quantum-leaping lasers to divide segments of the space-time continuum would theoretically capture a slice of life, it could implode the universe. Safely and professionally preserve moments and memories with today's Groupon: for $39, you get a family or child photo session in a location of your choice and one image on a disk from Joy McClellan Photography (a $100 value). Inspired to take up the camera to capture her own daughter's fleeting childhood, Joy McClellan coaxes compositions from candid moments instead of rigidly posing her subjects. Customers choose a venue vested with memory and meaning for a naturalistic shoot lasting 60 to 90 minutes, or until the camera lens begins to weep with nostalgia. Joy can travel to any location within 25 miles of downtown Jackson's thumping heart. After each image is gently captured, you'll choose your favorite from at least 10 digital proofs, and then take it home on a lovingly swaddled disk.

The Groupon Guide to: Road Trips

Break parole in the best way possible with these road tips for road trips:

Destinations: Nowhere to go? Pick where you're going at random by playing spin the bottle with maps instead of people. Once you've french kissed your destination, it's time to hit the road, literally. Now bandage up your hand and drive away.

Pit Stops: When fueling up, take an extra few minutes to fill your trunk up with gas so you don't have to stop again. Before doing this, make sure to move your lit candles and sun-dried fireworks to the backseat so they don't accidentally get wet.

Friendships: Bond with fellow passengers by playing a game of Celebrity Toll Booth, in which everyone in the car places toll booth operators into the categories of either John Goodman or Whoopi Goldberg.
Note: If you are by yourself, don't even bother going on the trip. The open road is no place for self-discovery.
