At Experience Photography, seasoned photographers converge to conduct photo shoots and swap skills inside a 1,500-square-foot studio. On the main floor, a cyclorama wall, green screen, and props enhance photo shoots, and a sturdy lock keeps out photo-bombing mayors. Upstairs, photographers impart their wisdom to shutterbugs of all levels during workshops, which cover topics such as composition and studio portraiture.
Stokes Photography is my life and my passion. I have been capturing images for 4 years now. My unique style and vision are what my clients hire me for. Instead of limitting myself to a particular shooting style, I try to mix the popular photojournalistic style with a twist of fine art, fashion and humor.
As a mother of six, the owner of Immortal Moments Photography is well-versed in techniques for calming nervous or unruly children. She wields this experience and a creative eye to photograph subjects including newborns, families, couples, and expectant mothers in exclusively on-location sessions. No matter the photo shoot, subjects are encouraged to have fun with playful posing and colorful props. After sessions, portraits are enhanced by adding custom digital effects such as chiaroscuro or colour accents in black-and-white shots.
The husband-and-wife team of Tassos and Stephanie Makrakis link the past with the present in more ways than one at Momento Photoworks. In a restored studio originally built in the 1860s, their team of photographers specializes in portraiture employing the same Hasselblad data camera system that Neil Armstrong used to capture the famous picture of Buzz Aldrin standing in front of the moon's first McDonald's. Tassos does extensive research on new products and portrait styles to ensure that each unhurried session yields the best visual results. The crew consults at length with the clients before memorializing images of couples, families, and children, as well as taking professional headshots and corporate photos. Artists professionally retouch faces and mount, protect, and hand-finish portraits on canvas, offering a five-year warranty on any piece unable to withstand environmental elements or cryptic glances from neighbouring pictures.
