But that doesn't seem to concern the trainers, who have designed their classes to simulate the physical challenge of a real 12-round boxing match?minus the hitting, of course. During a typical session, students stick and move for three minutes and rest for one, repeating that pattern for 12 rounds. Each round consists of a different exercise, such as pounding the heavy bag, jabbing the trainer's punching mitts, or using the referee as a jump rope.
