The Chinese Artifacts Museum houses detailed replicas of rare relics meant to emulate, explore, and celebrate Chinese culture at its origin and within Canada. A family pass beckons a small dynasty to drift by the exhibit's displays, which include life-sized terra cotta soldiers and mahogany furniture replicated from the Qing Dynasty Imperial Palace. Glean the various stages of Eastern and Western history and how they collide at the Chronological Table, or glide through a sea of Shiwan sculptures depicting figures found in legends, myths, and cereal-box backs of historic China. The building also boasts an intricately decorated 70-foot high dome modelled after the Temple of Heaven in Beijing where emperors once prayed for a generous harvest.
Since 1998, the instructors at Salsaddiction have been infecting students of all ages with their passion for Latin dance, helming classes at numerous locations around the city, including the 4,000-square-foot Integration Pilates dance studio. Once they turn on the music, they’ll divulge salsa styles, such as the flamboyant L.A. school or the group-based, partner-swapping rueda de casino. The fiesta continues at regular social events where students can try out their moves between conversations with peers or uncooperative pairs of feet.

Barbara Moore Academy of Dance's experienced instructors impart fledgling Fred Astaires and waltz whizzes alike with graceful dancing knowhow. Choose a month-long class from Barbara Moore's schedule and spend four sessions boosting dance floor gracefulness, improving dexterity, and dipping dance partners into ranch dressing. Each 45-minute adult class teaches toes to twinkle at a specific time each week, and participants can register online.
