Stone Moves Indoor Rock Climbing's multicolored crags rise from padded floors, creating a safe environment for top ropers, lead climbers, and boulderers alike to practice their vertical virtuosity. Each climbing and lesson package includes rental equipment such as a harness, helmet, climbing shoes, and chalk bag, but does not come with any Spiderman webbing. During the one-hour private sessions, instructors tutor wall scalers on the basic techniques of climbing and belaying, and also cover safety tips before pupils test-climb their new skills. Bouldering walls rise at gradual and sharp angles, allowing novice climbers to achieve their dreams of being stalactites for a day and membership holders to gain unlimited access to the gym's challenging crags.
Students of all experience levels can train at McCall Mixed Martial Arts, whether they're looking to compete or simply get in shape. Each of the studio's skilled senseis focus on techniques during classes that mix age, experience, body size, and telepathic strength. Students with today's Groupon can sign up for an unlimited number of McCall's classes for one month. Athletic apprentices can learn Brazilian jiu-jitsu, a self-defense system that subdues opponents employing ground moves including chokeholds, leglocks, and precision tickling. Conversely, muay Thai kickboxing relies on upright combat moves, a blend of punches, kicks, and elbows. Mixed martial arts combines ground and upright combat to form a complete system of self-defense useful in both cage and pillow fights.

A grass field becomes a gym at Boot Camp with Dameian. All he needs is a few fitness accoutrements—ropes, kettlebells, mats, plyometric boxes—to conduct high-intensity workouts that quickly chisel the body. Students power through routines five days a week at two outdoor locations.
Chris Green's passion for basketball has led him from the courts of his high school to the major arenas where he played with the ABA West All-Star Team. Though he was bestowed with many awards and accomplishments throughout his career, Green realized that his life's calling was not with basketball, but with helping people improve their lives through fitness. Eager to use his athletic talents to make a difference, he graduated with a degree in kinesiology and became certified in personal training through the International Sports and Science Association.
Today, Green combines the athletic prowess he cultivated on the basketball court with a positive, yet intense style of training during six-week boot camp programs, personal training sessions, and motivational coaching sessions. Dedicated to propelling students towards their fitness goals—whether those goals include losing weight, toning muscle, or squeezing into child-sized giraffe costumes—he supplements training sessions with regular motivational videos. Green also conducts regular self-improvement seminars on nutrition and body image.
Known in the dance world as Salsa Eddy, Edmanuel Deynes, has been smooth-stepping since childhood and has showcased his toe-tapping talents in a slew of competitions, workshops, and performances. The professional hip- swiveler infuses novice appendages with his Latin-inspired tutelage during three levels of group classes—beginner, basic/intermediate, and intermediate/advanced. Body-swaying visitors can step into one of the hour-long sessions and move their limbs in tune with the salsa beat, creating an elegant dancing duo with themselves and their own or newly-paired partners (partners are not required). Classes meet once a week, allowing enough time to recover from newly discovered muscle soreness and to study the differences between salsa dancing and dancing while covered in salsa. See the website for specific coordination-enhancing class times and dates for each location.
