A two-inch wide length of webbing, stretching loosely between two anchor points. At one ends, a gymnast places one bare foot on the line, preparing to walk, flip, and leap across to the other side. This is slacklining, an acrobatic sport taking hold in cities across America. At The Slackyard, beginners get their first taste of this activity under the watchful eye of a seasoned instructor. Newcomers start out easy, mastering their walks on lines as short as 10 feet and as low as one inch off the ground. As they gain experience and confidence, they also gain new skills, including strength, balance, and endurance. Suitable for guests as young as 8 and as old as 60, slacklining outings at The Slackyard make exciting birthday, bachelor, or work parties.
