Landscaped holes sprawl across the grounds of Putt-Putt Fun Center's three locations, challenging visitors to take hold of putters and test their short game. Besides putt-putt golf, the center has batting cages that hurl baseballs and the occasional tomato at various speeds. The attractions at Alley Cats Entertainment Center, include kid-friendly laser tag, rock-climbing, and an arcade, as well as a bar with billiards for the grown-ups. Both locations are home to giant arcades featuring state-of-the-art games and redemption centers to cash in tickets for prizes.

Specials and parties are offered year-round including summer camps, which are offered through Alley Cats and Putt-Putt Fun Center's multiple locations. At camps, kids ages 5 to 13 experience daily themes in a classroom setting from 7:30 a.m. to 6 p.m., from June 9 through August 22. All facilities are fully licensed for daycare and activities include days such as magic day, where children are taught tricks by a professional magician.

Climbers negotiate a web of routes that snake up walls that stretch as far as 25 feet toward the roof inside Dyno-Rock Climbing Center’s cavernous, air-conditioned space. The center sprawls to 16,000 square feet in all, including 2,000 square feet dedicated exclusively to bouldering. Climbers of all stripes will find challenges suited to their skill level, from straightforward routes with large handholds for beginners to inverted ceiling climbs for advanced spider people. The center’s staff also regularly scrambles the routes and handholds to keep climbers on their toes. All first-time visitors must take a quick course that helps them climb confidently, understand gym rules, and ensure a safe experience for everyone in the gym.

In addition to its scaling structures, Summit Climbing Gym hosts yoga classes in an on-site studio to boost climbing flexibility. Here, guests choose from a variety of formats, including CoreFusion, Slow Flow, Power Yoga, and Yin Yoga, a pose-intensive class that helps range of motion and strengthen connective tissues.

The guides at DFWAP Adventures lead treks throughout DFW Adventure Park's 176 acres, where families, church groups, and coworkers rely upon communication and teamwork to conquer challenges ranging from paintball scenarios to scavenger hunts through the wilderness. Colleagues trade in their eight-hour workday for corporate boot camp on the challenge course by tackling conflict resolution and dealing with stress. Emergency Services Services trainees can practice through wilderness search and vertical rescue, as well as tactical medic scenarios. Groups can also plan a multi-venue event combining paintball, a wilderness challenge course, obstacle race, and ziplines for a full day adventure.

Dominated by a soaring 120-foot climbing wall, the center’s gym bustles with preparatory activity as guides test students’ ascent abilities and improve their form with instructive, one-on-one critiques.
