The inspiration for Angerman Hardwoods came in 1986, when a family friend asked Chuck Angerman if he'd help install hardwood flooring in a mountain home. Angerman agreed, and they set to work; when the project was done, he marveled at the beauty of the floor's wood grain, and at how the floor changed the home's entire aesthetic. He launched Angerman Hardwoods the following year with the help of his partner, Cynthia.
