The experienced instructors at Every Body Balance stretch bodies of all ages into shape with a class regimen that combines Pilates and yoga to loosen tight muscles, open joints, and strengthen cores. With this deal, students pick five 60-minute classes, including Pilates with core props, where students work abs and align bodies, facilitating movement with a variety of accessories including rubber noses and banana-cream pies. As a trained dancer since age 5, it’s not surprising that Zumba Jammer-certified Ali Struyk eventually gravitated toward Zumba, a dance-fitness hybrid that helped her shed pounds after the birth of her child. Zumba integrates dance styles such as salsa, hip-hop, and rumba to upbeat Latin rhythms, simultaneously burning calories, strengthening muscles, and boosting energy levels without resorting to witchcraft. Students follow the freeform routines to the best of their ability, which allows participants of varying experience levels to bust a move in the same class.
