Meanwhile, adults build strong, healthy bodies during fitness bootcamps and personal-training sessions, or socialize through sports leagues and team parties. The facility fosters skill-building and physical development with a wealth of amenities, including two full-sized indoor soccer fields, indoor baseball/softball field, outdoor turf field, 10 batting cages, and supportive peers who can help improve high-five accuracy.
Founded by sports enthusiast and former adolescent Rick Hart, Jump Start Sports works to enrich pupils' childhoods by developing useful life skills through athletics. Qualified counselors employ their wealth of experience working with children to help campers learn teamwork and fair play as well as the fundamentals of fielding baseballs, scoring soccer goals, or synchronizing pom-pom work. A course structure built around age-appropriate activities, group play, and free electives ensures that students never get bored, and an 8:1 pupil-teacher ratio enables one-on-one assistance to young champions as they practice the graceful art of pitching or the scheming intrigue of free-agent contract negotiation.
Vertical and horizontal walls. Climbing ropes. Pulley lifts. Weight-laden sleds. These are just some of the challenges that await obstacle-race runners. Spartan Tough Training specializes in preparing people for such races by filling its facility with many of the same challenges. Members learn the most efficient ways to conquer obstacle courses while generally improving their strength, agility, and endurance, in order to prepare people to try to beat their personal records. With kettlebells for strength training and giant tires that can act as podiums for victory-speech practice, Spartan Tough Training gives clients the equipment and amenities they need to prepare themselves for race day. In addition to the equipment available now, Spartan Tough Training is adding a full outdoor training course behind the facility in spring of 2015.
In 2009, the Cleveland City Stars folded, leaving the Sixth City without a soccer franchise to call its own. Two years later, the group of local soccer supporters known as the 6th City Syndicate finally found a new team to cheer for as AFC Cleveland (its initials: A Fans' Club) joined the National Premier Soccer League, finally bringing the beloved sport back to Cleveland's glacially-formed soccer stadiums. Bolstered by the Syndicate's support, the team surged into the NPSL spotlight in its very first season, winning the first-ever Rust Belt Derby and upsetting the Erie Admirals to claim the Great Lakes Conference championship.
At Force Soccer Shoppes, soccer players gear up for on-field confrontation with a wide selection of apparel and gear. Replica jerseys inspire players to channel the adroitness of their favorite national or English Premier League players. Gear from brands such as Adidas, Nike, and Puma keeps players fashionable on the field. Sensitive shins can take refuge behind Force’s selection of shin guards, and 3/4-length soccer pants reveal tattoos of full-leg soccer pants
